Data Deletion Request

Request deletion of your account and the personal information we hold about you. We respond within 30 days, as required under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

What we'll delete

When we receive a verified request, we will delete:

  • Your Ledger account and login credentials.
  • All accounting data we received from QuickBooks Online for your company, including categorized transactions, vendor records, attachments, and derived analytics.
  • Your support correspondence and any non-essential metadata associated with your account.

What we have to keep

We retain a small set of records where required by law:

  • Billing and payment records (for tax and audit purposes — typically 7 years).
  • A minimal audit log entry recording that a deletion request was received and fulfilled, and when.
  • Encrypted backups, which are purged on a rolling 35-day schedule. We will not restore your data from backup after the deletion is processed.

How verification works

We verify deletion requests by sending a confirmation link to the email address on file. If you cannot access that address, attach a recent invoice or other proof of account ownership and we'll route the request through manual verification.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf by including signed authorization with your submission, in accordance with CCPA § 1798.130(a)(3).
